Wedding Wednesday: A "Reel"y Good Time
I love a good alliteration and I love a good pun. Enter, Wedding Wednesday. I have been toying with the right way to display images from weddings I have done in the past. Is it a gallery page, is it on the event page but the answer is on the blog. I'll tell you why. (Because I know you were dying to know!) These images are always worth 1,000 words but they still need some captions to truly set the scene of how amazing my clients are and how beautiful we have made their weddings. I want you to see the vendors we love and showcase their work as well as mine. #RisingTideSociety, Y'all.
So since they are about to celebrate their first wedding anniversary together, let's start with the Reel-Kazmi Wedding.
First of all, any wedding where traditional dress is not only suggested, but encouraged, I am THERE! In our planning meetings, Stephanie tossed out the idea of wearing a traditional sari to the rehearsal and dinner and I just couldn't let the idea go. It was TOO beautiful, TOO fitting, TOO sweet and just all around awesome. Numair's mother brought several sari's from Pakistan for all the girls to wear to the rehearsal dinner. I was only disappointed I couldn't coordinate the wedding in one myself... which brings me to my next point. Maybe it was because this was me this week last year. So. very. pregnant.
Second of all, could I have had more attractive and/or sweet clients?! Steph is the world's most complimentary person on the planet and is forever thanking me for her wedding day a year later. If you ever need a pick-me-up, hang out with Steph for sure.
But now to get down to business.

Aubrey is such an amazing photographer. But also, these models...
I LOVED Numair's navy tux with the black tie in. Plus, Leah's Monique Lhuillier in the background. All the heart eyes.
Mass is over -- to the reception we go!
All the light in the Petroleum Club made these centerpieces look like an arrangement from The Secret Garden.
Tony Foss, for the win
Not particularly cake people, Num and Steph decided to ditch a traditional wedding cake and do a TON of flavors of wedding cupcakes!
Really, the only problem here was guests coming back for seconds and thirds to try new flavors... I mean, they were "for friends". I see what ya did there.
My favorite picture of the whole night. That's Steve, Stephanie's dad. Full on rocking out!
I just never get tired of gold foil embossed script. It's timeless!
Thank you Steph for entrusting me with your big day -- even THAT pregnant! I think we pulled off a heck of a party! You were one of my all time favorite clients and I just want to hug your face!
