A Fruity Friday!
Ok, if this doesn't make you smile, I don't know what will!
I've done a lot of personal parties and a handful of these parties are children's birthdays. A decent amount of these parties are in the morning (hello, nap time for toddlers) so we are always looking for a way to feed kids somewhat healthy breakfast and lunch options at these parties!
I've made fruit into a lOT of things -- in fact, I really want to do a TWOty Fruity party for a second birthday. So any takers for that, just let me know!
Some of my favorite fruity ideas from some Meg Owen Events...
Fruit Faces -- Probably my favorite fruit masterpiece. The cast of Sesame Street face's done entirely in fruit! Good news is, even if there are any leftover, you can toss them all together in a honey-lime dressing and have an AWESOME fruit salad for brunch the morning after the party!
Seaweed -- This set up could totally be turned into snakes or caterpillars as well!
Speaking of caterpillars...
One of the easiest ones, cut cantaloupes into little sailboats!
Sometimes just artfully displayed on a three-tiered cupcake display will do the trick!
So much can be done with tiny cookie cutters!
Like these little whalermelons!!
